Faced with new constraints of their environment, industries are forced to join together in collective entities and collaborate with their partners. These companies have realized the importance of collaboration between companies and have begun to adopt new patterns of behavior to improve their productivity, profitability and flexibility during market requests. Indeed, the collaboration between firms has become a major strategic choice. Companies have begun to think of how to cooperate, a new form of management must be developed to ensure coordination and information’s sharing, in real time, between different stakeholders in the supply chain; suppliers, customers, subcontractors and carriers, etc. Faced with these issues, we truly believe that it is important to build a new information system; this one have to be modern, efficient and flexible in order to optimize and control the flow of information between supply chain actors. The approach presented in this paper is considered among the works that aim to propose solutions related to information systems based on multi-agent systems, in order to ensure coordination between services of various partners, sharing and traceability of information.

According to Reforms in electricity industry and privatization in Iran, "financial provision sources" is introduced as the most important barrier in enhancing electricity production through renewable energy. In this article by measuring and comparing Marginal Cost and electricity production through every renewable: Solar Thermal -30MW, Wind -12.5MW and Small Hydropower -1MW with fossilized technology: Steam Power Plant -400MW, Large Gas -300MW, Small Gas Power Plant -50MW and Combined cycle -400MW, suggested tariffs in buying electricity by economical study (providing financial resources – Loan from internal banks). All of the measurements are done in two scenarios: The present position in free mood and the result of directed subsidy and each of these two scenarios is studied through by considering social cost in electricity production. Finally, for supporting the sustainable energy and sustainable development in Iran and also for increasing the renewable energy quota in energy basket, the Government is proposed to encourage private investor for investment in renewable energy production in Iran. All of the measuring in this research is done through COMFAR software.

In this paper, we consider a reliability redundancy optimization problem in a series-parallel type system employing the redundancy strategy of cold-standby. The problem consists of two parts component selection and determination of redundancy level of each component—which need to be solved so that the mean lifetime of the system can be maximized. The redundancy allocation problem is nondeterministic polynomial-time hard and is solved by a combined genetic algorithm - simulation approach. Finally, this algorithm is tested on 33 benchmark problems.

Six sigma is a project driven approach that concentrates on reducing variations, defects and improving the quality of products, processes as well as services. The selection of right project in a six sigma program is a major concern for the early success and long term acceptance within any organization, as projects are expensive and require considerable human effort, money, and time. Selection of critical six sigma project, however, is a real challenge in practice. This study aims to develop a novel approach for the identification of critical six sigma project based on extent analysis method of fuzzy AHP. To explore effectiveness of the approach, an empirical case study of a manufacturing firm which produces various types of precision machined components, is demonstrated.

A very effective and strategic factor in the success of transportation projects is the process of selecting an execution system (delivery option). This is the reason why identifying the challenges and selecting an appropriate execution system in transportation projects are quite important; proper selecting will lead to proper progress in the execution of the projects of this sector which is somehow the basis for the country’s development. In this paper, using extensive field studies, the most important affecting factors of the existing main execution systems in Iran, including Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Design-Build (DB) and Construction Management (CM), in road, railway, and freeway projects were determined. Then, using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Expert Choice software, the appropriate execution system for each of such projects were identified and grouped
