Due to the importance of environmental effects of manufacturing system in recent decades, the production systems are obliged to comply different environmental regulations. The present research, aims to design a green supply chain model for Guilan steel industry with a hybrid approach. This study is applied research in term of purpose, exploratory in term of method, quantitative and qualitative in terms of data type. A researcher made questionnaire are applied, in addition to interview, for data gathering. The under-study research population includes steel industry experts out of them, 12 experts were selected for data gathering phase. Conducting the research, first applying fuzzy Delphi method, 5 main factors and 25 important sub-factors were identified. Then, using fuzzy DEMATEL and interpretive structural modeling (ISM) methods, the importance of each facto was determined, in which two factors "external environment study" and "internal environment study" were at the highest level of the importance, while "Waste reduction", "waste recycling" and "purchasing based on environmental products" were at the last level. These variables are interrelated and affect their next levels.

In managing a supply chain, the green approach has become pivotal for the sake of environmental, economic, and social sustainability. In this paper, we consider the environmental performance prediction in managing sourcing of a textile industry supply chain. Specifically, this research focuses on the dying sector of an emerging economy. We identify eleven green supply chain performance indicators and four performance measures and perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses. The performance is predicted using a probabilistic model based on a Bayesian belief network (BBN). The robustness of the findings is validated through a sensitivity analysis. The outcomes suggest that ‘total suspended solids’ (TSS) and ‘volatile organic compounds’ (VOC) are the most important indicators for the case company in this study with the highest entropy reduction. Also, ‘air emission’ was found to be the most impactful performance measure for entropy reduction. This research work will help improve the decision-making capability of the managers and practitioners considering the total environmental performance of the green supply chain. The improved decision-making will also improve overall organizational performance of a green supply chain.

Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is defined as the integration of environmental thinking into supply-chain management, including product design, material sourcing and selection, manufacturing processes and procurement. Generally, the sustainable supply chain is built on three dimensions: social, economic, and environmental, while the green supply chain emphasizes on the environmental issue considering an economic result. Although many works of sustainable growth heed attention on the profit margin as a first priority, however, the green supply chain focuses on the environmental issue along with an efficacious process, which is a beneficial to the environment as well. There are over 200 papers about GSCM. But among them, very few papers focus on the Pharmaceutical Industry, specially focusing on the supplier. But this paper focuses on implementing GSCM on Pharmaceutical Industry. Multi-objective Optimization Model has been applied here. Performance of the proposed model is evaluated by the Pycharm Solver of Python.

The green smart supply chain is a phenomenon that has emerged as a result of the development of sustainable and smart business and information technology trends. Sustainable and green supply chains are an innovative phenomenon that uses information technology to improve the quality of activities in operating areas. In order to ensure that activities are adapted to social and environmental needs. In this regard, the Internet of Things is one of the most important components of technology infrastructure for smart. For this purpose, in this research, a framework for implementing a green IoT-based supply chain is presented. This framework is based on the four-stage architecture of the Internet of Things and has been created by emphasizing the literature and the interaction and review of the opinions of active experts in this field. This framework illustrates the direct relationship between data generation and how it interacts with the sectors affected by environmental sustainability and outlines a clear pathway for sustainable and green decision-making in the supply chain. This framework has been endorsed by experts in the supply chain field and can pave the way for effective implementation of the green supply chain with an emphasis on technology in manufacturing organizations.
